Accessible areas for vehicles?
Considering that the function of the Hydraulic Mosaic is mainly a floor covering one, with esthetic character, the quality and technical specifications prove to be essential for the success of the final solution.  Any product depends not only on itself, but also on the features of complementary elements that are used.

Therefore, after being duly applied on a resistant surface capable for having substantial loads in movement, this product becomes part of an integrated solution (base+ coverings), so it should be evaluated according to its efforts and loads, as a set.

Naturally a problem with the base can generate flows in the coating system. So a careful and technically well constructed base won’t create any efforts, except the one of resistance to compression.

This way we suggest the following:

Light Road traffic (up to 3500 kgs)

We recommend in the case of accessible areas for light vehicles, the compliance of the following parameters:

-It must be the technical responsible of the worksite, to do the correct assessment of floor loading capacity, calculating and measuring the under-base, as well as the base itself properly,
- The application should be done over rigid base suitable for required loads, establishing a set solid behavior, as a monolithic block,
- Suitable for passage and park of light vehicles in streets, squares, sidewalks, accessible areas and playgrounds, in private and public sites.

- Heavy Road traffic (up to 3500 kgs)

We recommend in the case of accessible areas for heavy vehicles, the compliance of the following parameters:

-It must be the technical responsible of the worksite, to do the correct assessment of floor loading capacity, calculating and measuring the under-base, as well as the base itself properly,
- The application should be done over rigid base suitable for required loads establishing a set solid behavior as a monolithic block,
-In order to increase the solution life cycle, the random access in reduced speed should be imposed, as well as the restriction to maneuvering and bending-traction efforts.

These recommendations are not at any moment a replacement for the adoption of the best construction practices.
